WOSSA AFRICA CELEBRATES AS DR. AMBASSADOR OMOTAYO THOMAS RECEIVES HUMANITARIAN AWARD. Dr.Omotayo Thomas received the honours for his commitment to social responsibility, humanitarian service, support for widows and orphans and vulnerable communities.

The Widows and Orphans Support Society of Africa (WOSSA) has celebrated another remarkable milestone as its President and Founder, Dr. Ambassador Omotayo Thomas, was honoured at the Social Responsibility UN Humanitarian Award held at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The distinguished event, organised by AS+A Communications in conjunction with the United Nations Nigeria, brought together personalities, organisations and stakeholders committed to advancing social responsibility, humanitarian service and sustainable development.
For WOSSA Africa, the occasion was more than an award ceremony; it was a celebration of a recognition of the organisation's continued commitment to touching lives and giving hope to vulnerable members of the society. Dr. Ambassador Omotayo Thomas has remained a strong voice for humanitarian intervention, particularly in supporting widows, orphans, women and disadvantaged families. Through WOSSA, he has championed initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and dignity of widows and orphans while encouraging individuals and organisations to embrace the responsibility of caring for those in need.
The recognition is therefore regarded by members and supporters of WOSSA as an affirmation of the impact of humanitarian service and the importance of sustained efforts towards building a more compassionate society.
Speaking in the spirit of gratitude, Dr. Amb. Omotayo Thomas attributed the achievement to the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of Almighty God, acknowledging that every milestone recorded by the organisation is ultimately by God's grace.
The organisation expressed appreciation to the organisers of the Social Responsibility UN Humanitarian Award and all partners, supporters and well-wishers who continue to encourage WOSSA in its humanitarian mission.
The Award has further strengthened WOSSA Africa's resolve to continue its work of restoring hope, empowering vulnerable people and promoting compassion, dignity and social responsibility across Africa.
As Dr. Ambassador Omotayo Thomas received the honour, the moment served as a reminder that genuine service to humanity does not go unnoticed. It was a great time with Chief BAKARE OLUBAMISHE hosting the Diaspora from Brazil at his residence in Lagos, Nigeria. Chief Bakare is an Elder STATEMAN of The All progressive Congress (APC).
