The commendation formed part of the Commissioner of Police’s Commendation and Awards Ceremony, held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Police Officers’ Mess, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta. A total of 39 officers, comprising five retired and 34 serving personnel, were recognised at the ceremony for their distinguished service and commitment to duty.
