The Artist/Campaigner Arthur Angel Judah after his release from prison for false and unlawful arrest , imprisonment, and parade on death row, Arthur has had over 22 exhibitions around the world . At the moment he is agitating for out right abolition of death penalty and he sees the death penalty as retaliation and vengeance. The present prison system and style of incarceration is punitive. The prison system ought to change the mental attitude of the man not to make him worse. The 16th world day against death penalty focusing on the living conditions of those sentenced to death. The condition of death row inmates can be describe as gruesome, agony, suffering, pain, in their daily treatment as inmates. They suffer both physical and psychological torture as they face execution. They live in fear,turmoil and pains daily as the day goes by,their right to life and dignity is what Arthur is pushing for ,thus staging Art Exhibitions in various countries to campaign against death penalty. The activist cum artist uses every medium to talk to people on the right of prisoners and having being a victim of false accusation at a time and had a glimpse of the death row experience he is the best advocate of our time.
