HRM.OBA DR.OLUSHINO ADEDAYO ADEKOYA-OBA MERO-"ERINSIBA 1"

It was a cultural ambience at  the palace of HRM.Oba.Dr Olushino Adedayo Adekoya, Oba Mero-(Erinshiba 1) , The Legusen of Ode-Ule Kingdom. The president general Isese Agbaye Community  World wide. HRM.Dr.Adekoya is entrenched in history, love for tradition and his community, Ode-Ule, Remo in Ogun state as he empowers the indigens in commemuration of the celebration of World ERO DAY. Kabiyesi who is well loved and highly revered by his subjects said the Ero day is a celebration of peace and calmness of creation which is the mythological believe of the Yoruba's that "Leduwa" who is the head of the governing council of heaven sent an expedition from the cosmic world to the material world to explore the space severally, until the 7th deligation headed by Obatala finally discovered that there exists a material world called "OMI" which means Wavey and they saw that everywhere was covered with water,they had to solidify the place before they can step on it. The Yoruba mythology had it that before leaving the cosmic world when Obatala was chosen for the task he was asked to request for something, just one thing that he will need on his journey, he consulted IFA and Esu told him to ask for "APO AJAKA" the miracle bag. Obatala request was granted by Leduwa who is also known as Eledua/Eledunmare.The miracle bag is a bag of wonders where wishes come through. Obatala put his hand in the miracle bag and brought out sand,pour it on the material world and it became swampy,he then brought out a cock"AKUKO" which spread the sand everywhere. Obatala now use "ASE" command to solidify the swampy area,which is now referred to as earth,he then use "ERO" calmness to mellow it down.This is now the celebration of the first day of creation when everything was calm after the solid earth creation.It is universaly celebrated yearly on 6th of September, it also signifies the first day of Isese year. "ISESE" is what it is at the beginning.The Ero-day is the day we thank Nature for its benevolence ,for food,water,clothing,health and all that mother earth had provided for us.ERO day is the peace and calmness of creation, this also signify the beginning of the new calendar year in Yoruba mythology. That is why Obatala is referred to as Onile because he owns the earth through creation.The first person to step on the earth after creation is Palagemo.kabiyesi made this history known to all and reinstated is commitment to his community and said this World ERO day started with IFA divination for twenty-one days and chanting of Odu -Ifa prayers for twenty-one days by IFA priests,there is going to be a football match among the youth which is called the LOPEERE football competition which is a yearly tournament to discover talents and encourage sports among the youth,channel their energy to positive thinking and maximize their potentials.There will also be celebration all around the town bringing in sons and daughters of the great kingdom together both home and diaspora. The elegant adorable queen "Olori Bolajoko Ademonisola Adekoya"an ace journalist of high repute,The CEO -OOBA Television,producer/presenter AFROWOOD TV -Nigerian representatative Denmark,a fashionista,an enigma,a paragon of beauty graced the occasion beautifully and she encouraged women to take advantage of the empowerment program and utilize it judiciously. Omooba Omoniyi Adesanya Adekoya who is the prince of the kingdom also admonished the people to take development of the community seriously through the empowerment program and be entrepreneurs of great repute both SME and large scale production which will bring employment to the community and encourage growth through manufacturing and production of raw materials into finished products.This year ERO celebration  has commence and 6th of September as officially been chosen as world ERO day.
