Mrs Funmi FALANA is a legal practitioner, a human right activist,a wife,mother with a kind heart ,an enigma and the founder of Women Empowerment and Legal Aids (WELA) which is fully funded and managed by her.She provide free Legal Aids for women and girl child,thus,empowering them with life tools for their uplifting. Mrs Falana is a rear breed who combine her passion for humanity with the management of the home gracefully. She is the initiator of WELA FOUNDATION, a non-governmental,not-for-profit making organization that help women and girl child in need,she empower the women with skill and provides equipment with which they can work with after graduation. WELA was formed to contribute to the promotion and protection of women's rights through advocacy,provision of legal aids,and trainning.The need to end discrimination against women in Nigeria and close the exisiting gender gap.she help the abused,shelter the homeless, provide medical care and help them get back on their feet.She is a goddess that brings out the best in everyone. Her love for humanity is freely expressed towards the needy and less privileged in the society. Mrs Funmi Falana fought for many women protective laws and won cases in court in favour of women,all for free without any cost.On Saturday,the 7th of December, 2019,Mrs Funmi Falana graduated the students who were trained at her empowerment center and she send them forth with equipments for their start up.She also gave scholarship to students in the Tertiary  institutions who are less privileged and could not pay their school fees.She also celebrated the rescued assaulted lady who gave birth to a beautiful baby,she vowed to sponsor the mother and provide for the baby through infancy. The graduating students showcased their craft and it beautiful to behold.She takes people from the streets and made them homely.The event was graced by Prof.Pat.Utomi who is a key not speaker,her husband, Mr.Femi.Falana,SAN,the ace actress,Funke Akindele,her own son,Falz the bad boy.Her friends and family were present to give her all the moral support ,her team of lawyers and students were equally noticed.Like her saying goes 'Women rights are human right'.Mrs Funmi Falana is a heroine with a golden heart.

It was allergedly reported that at the ikorodu general hospital,Lagos , a mother gave birth to a twins which were later discovered that they had jurndis. They were later taken back to the hospital for treatment and kept in the blue wave room, but unfortunately the were burnt and their lives lost.The new mother cried her heart out with their family for justice.
