It was a beautiful moment of relection and togetherness as Muslim faithfuls came together on 18th of May,2019 for the Annual 2019 Ramadan Lecture with the Theme -Islamic financial system :A  solution to Nigeria Insecurity and Insurgency.The speakers did justice  to the Topic and remind the followers of the Islamic faith to uphold the tenent of the Quaran and the fasting peroid to keep it holy.The Royal father was  present ,Oba .Engr.Kabir Shotobi -Ayangbure of Ikorodu.The guest speaker, Mallam Qudus O .Balogun,the treasurer of the prestigious Island Club, Chief Siji Olowosoko ,Asiwaju Taofeek F.Adelekan,KCOP ,Alhaji (Dr)Tajudeen Okoya who is the guest of honor was represented ,Alhaji (Chief) Y.Ishola Lasisi, is the Chairman of the day, the Ramadan Lecture, was a success as all invites were blessed and happy for attending.

It was an awesome time in Gods presence at the nobble charpter ,surulere were the Lord blessed his people powerfully.Monday 13th of May 2019 was a day to remember as the testifyer ,Mr Arthur Judah Angel was used by God to bless the people tremendiously,the presence of the Lord filled the place and all the brethren were blessed by his testimony. The veteran Chief Siji Olowosuko was voted as the new treasurer of Island Club of Lagos unoppossed. The amiable Chief olowosoko is highly respected among all members for his contribution to the club and the christain faith.He was elected unanimously, and all contestants to the position stepped down for him to run.It was a joyful celebration .After the election ,all contestants in the spirit of fellowship wished the winners of the various positions a good start in their new offices.
