Changing the world is an act of kindness, doing selfless service is  humanity personified, that describes the eloquent scholar Adebukola Olowoyeye,a man burning with passion to change the narrative of young people in his country-Nigeria;going to schools to teach the act of examplary leadership and positively harnessing the potentials of the youth at large.He is selfless,dogged,unrelenting in his vision to greatness of the Nigerian youth,he believes trainning the young people,catching them young as to develop interest in the positive side of life and progress rapidly. Breeding good leaders as well as great followers is an embedded trait.OLOWOYEYE ADEBUKOLA is the Executive Director of GOLD MINDS LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE  an NGO based in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of science (B. sc) in Business Management, a certified Leadership coach who hails for Efon Alaye in Ekiti State. This numerous award winning humanitarian has successfully put together professionals from different ethnic group with major focus on :Leadership at the high school level,Teenage pregnancy awareness / Girl child literacy,youth development/ youth participation,Drug Abuse Education etc.The organisation was founded on July 30th, 2014, with the Hunger of confronting the major challenge in Africa which is LEADERSHIP. ironically from the common belief, followership   is our biggest problem.  What followers know as regards the concept of leadership are what they will display when they eventually play their roles as leaders at any given time. His strategy is to catch them young, and one of the avenues is by reaching out to students in public schools,  to instill leadership ideals and also teach positive influence at that stage of their lives. His organisation gives leadership certificate to academic deserving students, to remind them that the society still rewards the values of hard work  and perseverance. He believes that if we can all go back to the fundamentals, then we can basically change the general notion that "Africa is poor", but is badly managed and that a single man can not bring about the true change that we all seek for. This dogged youth crusader  believes  that long and lasting change begins at the individual level and it is a collective responsibility. Without any foreign grant, his organisation has reached out to more than five (5) thousand students in Nigeria alone in the space of four (4) years. The organisation he founded now has branches in Nigeria, Liberia and Sierra Leone, he intends to touch more lives in other parts of Africa before year 2020. His campaigns has always been "if we can all be part of the solution and stop complaining about how bad Africa is" then and only then will the continent be great again.GOLD MINDS LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE'S believes in " humanity first".                       This great son of Africa is our man of the week.

A cry for justice by FIDA LAGOS

It was allergedly reported that at the ikorodu general hospital,Lagos , a mother gave birth to a twins which were later discovered that they had jurndis. They were later taken back to the hospital for treatment and kept in the blue wave room, but unfortunately the were burnt and their lives lost.The new mother cried her heart out with their family for justice.
