FABIO HUTHER - 'UMUNTU' HUMANITY FIRST

The charismatic , energetic and sefless Swiss born Fabio Huther is making humanity proud. He is devoted to a better world for everyone. He started the movement - Umuntu. The motivation for the international NGO 'Umuntu Movement' was the diagnosis of bone cancer in Fabio and the death of his godchild and contaminated drinking water (Chollera). At age 8, Fabio Hüther, founder and CEO, got bone cancer with a 50% chance of survival. His consciousness changed as fast as lightning. He wanted to do good to the people and to the environment, he swore. At 14, he founded his first NGO called Bee The Change. A few years later, he combined all his benefits to Umuntu Movement. Umuntu means, "I am because we are." He wants to bring this philosophy with his members into the world.He is currently active with Umuntu Movement in over 10 countries worldwide - more to come. Mostly in Africa, because he has a large indigenous network. The goal of Umuntu is to provide sustainable support to people and the environment. To improve the African economy and increase the well-being of the population. With his motto "Clean water is a human right - not a private privilege." He helps people in need to clean drinking water and takes action against the privatization of water reserves. With the help of geologists and his developed water filter technology, the vision becomes reality.In addition to water supply and water filtration Umuntu has many more projects. So far, they have planted 35,000 trees with their indigenous ambassadors - targeting 1 million by 2020. In addition, Umuntu has permaculture projects (organic farming) to reuse degraded soils and teach people the most sustainable type of agriculture. In addition, less priviledge people are allowed to use Umuntu land for free to grow their food. we call the concept 'Community Gardening'. Most of the planted trees are made of fruit trees, so that indigenous people can eat something that is both healthy and free, thus sustaining the environment. Umuntu has its own education reform called 'Ecopreneurship' which reflects all their  works and deeds in entrepreneurial and scientific execution. We want to teach the children the future and the present generations how to work sustainably. Not at the expense of the environment, but with her. All their projects are powered by renewable energy. They want to make the inhabitants of Africa independent again, by making available water filters, food and workshops, inturn create health, jobs and wealth.
